April 11, 2015 - WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: This is clear with a medium amber colour.
Nose: The nose is clean showing medium intensity aromas of honey, malted bread, apple, wood notes. This is matured.
Palate: This is dry in the mouth with warming alcohol. It has a full body and pronounced intensity flavours of honey, malted bread, vanilla, apple, wood notes, dried fruit, toast, caramel, butterscotch, smokiness. The finish is long and very complex.
Conclusion: It is a very good quality spirit. Good balance, good expression, long and very complex. Well integrated alcohol. Premium price - £39.49
