March 12, 2022 - Deep garnet in color. Nose of cherries and hint of tobacco. Taste of ripe cherries and hints of leather. No tannins and just past its peak. One dimensional at this point, but enough fruit and acidity to pare nicely with cream based sauces and mushrooms. Drink now.

February 2, 2014 - There is nothing like a 15-year old Barolo to brighten the evening. Very special. It got better with each moment. It is a bit thin, so this gem has likely peaked. Drink now and remember the moment well.
