Community Tasting Notes 4

  • Mic Mac Likes this wine:

April 2, 2018 - This is a classic Barossa fruit and oak driven red. If you're in the mood for one (and I was) this does very nicely. Great QPR.

December 31, 2016 - Deep rich and a perfect foil to the German reds we have been drinking.

December 22, 2011 - Powerfull Shiraz with a very clear and distinct grape - one of the best Australian Shiraz's I have tasted. Long after taste with hints of spices. The best part of this wine, is that it is so pure Shiraz, with the deep characters of this grape so much in presence.

June 3, 2011 - Deep Crimson in colour, the nose has a saturation of dark berries that are nicely contrasted by licorice and cedary oak.

The palate is opulent and balanced with plum flavours on entry fleshing out to more spicy Christmas cake notes on the back palate. The tannins are soft and provide good structure and mouth feel.
