  March 18, 2011 - This Sauv Blanc showed pale yellow in the glass. This domestic Sauv Blanc had a nose like a kiwi SB: grass, floral, with lemon citrus notes underneath. Very acidic on the palate with a burst of citrus. A little astringent on the back of the palate leading into a short finish. Varietally correct, and a good representation of the grape. While I wasn't blown away I do think this a good Sauv Blanc, and I wouldn't hesitate to drink again.

  March 3, 2011 - Popped and poured, then tasted over two days. Pale gold to straw in color. Excellent and vibrant nose of bright citrus and white flowers. Nose is tremendous. On the palate: Key lime, lemon zest, Stonefruits (esp. peach, nectarine), a small hit of melon, and good minerality. Very hot the first day, which almost killed it for me, but on day 2 the underlying richness came up and diminished the imbalance. Nice acidity, but could use more with these ripe flavors. Very rich mouthfeel. Well integrated on day 2. None of the 'off' flavors that can sometimes plague this varietal. Would have scored much lower on day 1, so perhaps give this some air. Finish is moderate. Good QPR.
