  September 24, 2013 - This is a "wow" wine, particularly for the price. Definitely California in character, but a balance rendition of it. A good dose of oak. A bit of butter, but not to a mouth puckering level. Lush on the palate, with a long finish. When I'm in the mood for this (and I am tonight, hence the elevated score), this is a center of the plate pitch.
  
  I think I have one or two bottles of this left. I'll be seeking them out to drink in the next 3-6 months, since for me it seems like it's at its peak.

  November 20, 2012 - In a very nice place right now. An aged character without being faded or over the hill. Nice balanced with a nice touch of oak. Close to at it's prime, remaining bottles should be consumed in the next year or so (by 2013)

  July 15, 2012 - Light gold in color with a subtle citrus nose. Rich baked apple and pear, strong stone minerality and spices with a moderate acidity. Finish has a bit of butter and fat.
