The first words that come to mind when drinking this wine were elegant and feminine. Pure red fruit, great acidity, vibrant and full of energy with a hint of earthiness and VA (that lead me to think of Piedmont and Dolcetto) it is simply a very pretty and good wine. -

January 10, 2013 - This is an elegant dolcetto. Red fruit, hint of spice, and bark on the palate with great palate cleansing acidty. Not overly complex and at the same time not simple ...just really pretty and enjoyable. This wine is not about complexity but simple enjoyment at the table with food. Great with our dinner at Anteprima. I am glad I have two more bottles. I enjoyed this style of dolcetto.

Smell of cherries and marzipan with an earthy tone.
Nice fruit feeling and good acidity. Fresh. Some pepper at the end. Decent length.
Not the most memorable Dolcetto experience, the vintage is weak compared to the 2006 and 2009. -

Modest but elegant nose with some dark fruit, marzipan and spices.
Light bodied with nice acidity and decent lenght.
Well balanced, elegant and pleasant wine.
One of my better dolcetto experiences.
