  September 18, 2018 - Deep Garnet in color. The aroma is pronounced with aromas of tomato leaf/green bell pepper, blackberry, bramble, baking spices, cedar, vanilla, wet forest floor. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium plus tannins, ripe, soft, well integrated, high alcohol which takes a bit away from the overall fruit and palate, full body. Flavors of prunes, blackberries, chocolate, cherries, baking spices vanilla black plums and of pronounced intensity. The finish is long and primarily that of fruit and baking spices. The wine is a very good example of a Napa Cab, with complexity, intensity on the nose and palate and long finish. Somewhat off balance with the alcohol . Drink now, will not improve with age.
