  May 2, 2012 - Good with food, but is a little thin and has a suprisingly low alcohol content for a grenache dominated wine...definite dark red/black fruit up front but other than oaky minerality there is a distinctive lack of secondary flavors both on nose and palate...finish is short but smoothwith distinct dry oakiness and only a minimal amount of grenache's charachteristic pepper...the blending of this wine is why i gave it the rating I did otherwise I would put it lower....love there clos saint michel chat neuf du pape though!

  October 15, 2011 - Shockingly good -- very high QPR; lots of grip and earthy notes, lush fruit up front, well-balanced and big. Very tasty with food and on its own. From a CDP producer.
