Community Tasting Notes 2

December 4, 2012 - Very much the Rhone style wine, kind of smoked meats as opposed to the California jammy style. Very strong finish. Should last quite awhile.

March 6, 2011 - Napa Offline and a whole bunch of wine, mostly Syrah (Napa Valley Wine & Cigar): This was a fun wine, but seemed a bit lighter than most of the other wines. I did not get to talk to anyone about it. The nose is raspberry and confectioners sugar. On the palate, more of the same. I know a lot of people who would like this wine. I am sure it got hurt in this setting and by this time of the night, my palate was tired and needed more oomph. Still, this has nice red fruit, good balance and drink easily. I would like to revisit this wine at some point.
