March 10, 2021 - A nice easy drinking syrah. We took it to my club at lunch and pnp'd. Dark fruit on the nose the palate was dark berries, smoke and a hint of spice. Finish was moderate and smooth.

January 24, 2021 - Decanted and took 45 mins before it opened up and was better still after an hour as it even displayed a slight hint of sweetness on the finish. Very dark fruit with medium plus body and acidity that was nicely balanced and structured. Fairly concentrated/extracted which I believe explains the need still for an hour decant. This also leads me to believe that this wine will benefit from further aging, perhaps in 23 or 24 could be another 1-2 pt higher score. Should easily last another 10 years, so no rush.
