    February 28, 2023 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -med dark red minimal clearing
-subdued red currant cassis wet stone
-med acidity, med weight straight forward earthy fading cassis slightly medicinal note on the finish along with med/med- tannins
-this was probably better a few years ago, in my opinion Morot seems to have more success is less ripe vintages

January 6, 2023 - Light ruby. Medium weight. Black fruit, soil, and light green herbs with excellent acidity. Ready but no rush.

January 8, 2022 - Light ruby/garnet color. Strong resiny scent. Polished, middle weight, more green flavors than increasing black cherry. A bit of soil as well. Not so much a product of the ripe vintage as a victim of heavy-handed cooperage. Hard to get too excited about this bottle.

This tastes a lot more like Burgundy (and less like Rioja) the second night.

    August 7, 2021 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -med dark red
    -dark berry earth tar
-med acidity, med weight low key dark fruit with some earthy med tannins that are a wee bit dried out
    -OK

July 28, 2021 - Dark cherry and mineral notes on the nose. Slightly disjointed on the palate with with wood and ripe tannins being notable. Drinkable but will get better; try again in 2 to 3 years. Will deserve a higher score if it pulls together as expected.
