October 24, 2023 - Drunk over 2 days.Reading the notes below I feel I must have been drinking another Burgundy or it is simple bottle variation.i was looking for more fragrance and fruit, perhaps the tannins were not fully resolved but I expected more.

March 1, 2022 - This is glorious. It's a much bigger wine than the 09 Clavelier Combe d'Orveaux opened alongside it, with broader shoulders, darker fruit, and orders of magnitude more concentration. It's not quite as silky perhaps, but it's just as balanced and also much deeper and blessed with additional layers of flavor. Despite the boldness, no one would ever call this overripe; it's bright and brimming with energy. Still structured and will improve with age.

February 12, 2022 - Great color, in the lighter side. Red berries, a bit of rusticity on the nose. Great structure in the palate, slight tannic edge and a little sweetness that might be due to the oak but I’m not sure. Long finish. Great wine in a great place.

February 26, 2021 - Bottle breathe for 1.5 hours. Perfume and earthy nose dominates, and very smooth palate with black fruit and leather. Medium finishing.

However, once the liquid is poured into the wine glass, the palate withers very quickly (10 min?). This is a surprise given Dujac but next time I will try PnP and drink very slowly

April 11, 2020 - i recently drank a stunning 02 CSD, and the aromatics on this are very much up to the high bar. incredibly earthy character with sweet, soft purple fruit. still primary. this is a great way to enjoy what makes Dujac special without breaking the bank

Addendum....finished the second half almost a week later. Bouquet remained at a very high level but the flavors were less interesting
