March 29, 2024 - My fourth vintage of the Cathiard Les Suchots, and the 2009 is certainly a very good burgundy. If you like the typical Cathiard lushness you will probably love it. The nose is sligthly better than the palate.

June 5, 2022 - 09 is ready to drink now. Bottle decent for several hours, drinking together with 05 suchots. 05 is more mature and ready than 09. It’s more smooth with less tanning. And more tertiary flavor.
Personally I think it’s too smooth and lack of its structure. -

February 23, 2016 - DEGUSTO - NEIVE: Naso da subito abbastanza muto in cui solo il legno dolce prevale. In bocca è delicatissimo, floreale e molto profumato. Bella acidità e scorrevolezza per un 2009. Tannino dolcissimo e levigato.
Finale un pò amaro fumé in cui il legno è ancora troppo fastidioso.
Da attendere qualche anno, sperando che perda un pochino di dolcezza. -

October 28, 2012 - This is so good, this is what it's all about in Vosne. This is sex in a bottle. Spices and ripe gorgeous fruit, all wrapped up in an elegant seamless dress. Love this.
