May 6, 2023 - Lunch at Jade Court (Chicago, IL): If I remember correctly, this was the first vintage of the reunified Domaine after Kellen's departure. Shows a little bit of age on it, and the fruit isn't as expressive as I would expect from a 2009 and comes off a bit thin, but the ripe structure of the vintage is certainly on display here. Maybe it's just that this is a villages wine?

April 12, 2021 - starting to enter a really beautiful level of maturity. Complex nose with red fruit and a certain earthyness. The mouth delivers more of the same with a silky finish and a very nice lenght.

December 28, 2019 - Rouge aux reflets marron.
Superbe nez de rose. un véritable jardin de pétales de fleurs .
Doux et soyeux, ce Morey se boit sans retenue, sa concentration étant plutôt limitée.
Suave, oui, équilibré, tout à fait, mais tout de même en manque de complexité et d'argument.

November 11, 2016 - Crimson maroon; nose shows less of a somber Morey character and more of a masculine structured Burg note, sharp red currant reminiscent of Bordeaux, rose petals, and sour cherry; palate is same as nose but there is a sweet drinkable quality that begs me to go back for more; very good.

October 5, 2014 - very young, red fruits, earthy but very light and relatively short, hopefully some 4-5 extra years in the cellar allow it to add more body
