Community Tasting Notes 2

May 28, 2013 - woody on the nose, didn't get much fruit. Dark cherry on the palate. Drank OK for 3 days

May 2, 2012 - The wine has a beautiful deep color but is thin in the glass. A strong nose with tobacco, earthiness, a little oak and a very dark berry with a distinct alcohol note also. The taste was similar with some vanilla. The alcohol note was still there as the wine finished which detracted quite a bit from the wine. I finished the bottle the next day and there was an amazing difference. The alcohol note was gone and the wine was much improved with some cherry notes noticeable.
