August 18, 2022 - end of the night bonus bottle, another winner, showing gorgeous dark fruit and a vosne-like character which makes sense given where in Nuit it is situated.

ONEFIVE Likes this wine:
April 17, 2022 - There’s dried red fruit, wet stone, iron, and floral elements.
The wine is fairly taut on the plate, with a light grip tannin, medium weight and medium plus acid.
It’s drinking great now and it may get better when the tannin settles further. However, there’s a chance the fruit is starting to fade a bit. With air, this became more expressive and integrated. Best to try this again in the next few years. -

January 3, 2021 - This is brilliant wine - all the weight you'd expect from an '09, but winsome with it. Nose is complex and harmonious, with interwoven strands of mint, game, damp earth and dark fruit. Long and harmonious on the palate too, with sweet fruit, wood and a hint of cream, all well balanced by a darker, spicy edge and some subtle tannin. A tremendous (and delicious) combination of weight and purity.

June 14, 2020 - NSG sharing session. Few hours of air in bottle already. Drank in Grassl Cru. Tasted at 3.30am in the night!
Appeaance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour, with wide garnet rim. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of saline wet stones minerality, forest floor earth, dak red cherries, bits of dark red florals, spice. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), supple medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet ripe red cherries, ripe strawberries, sweet savoury earth, dare I say - that Vosne spice, saline wet stones minerality, potpourri. Long finish.
Very good quality. Ripeness of the vintage combined with elegance of the plot terroir. Drinking in a good window now already.
