  May 17, 2014 - I believe my first wine from this region. Shows a little evolution but there is still lots of ruby fruit to be seen. Nose is tobacco and forest and hints of oceania. Good weight and mouthfeel. Soft and buoyant in the mouth, velvet tannin but good persistence. A whiff of fresh black and green cracked pepper on the finish paired with a hit of chewy fruit and acid. A refined wine with some rowdy undertones. Just starting to reveal itself. Excellent - 90-91
