  January 25, 2013 - Big fruit. Big smoke. Medium/high oak. Mild tannins exposed on the medium finish. Some vanilla to round things out. There's alot to like here based on the QPR, but I would have to recommend pairing with food at least on day one. It is a bit overpowering on its own.

  December 9, 2012 - Candied sweet red fruit upon opening, simple, but let this open a few hours before judging. I remember this being much better the next night on previous bottles. Opens further with subtle meaty tones with more balance to the ripe red fruit. Very fruit driven but enjoyable with the right food.
