January 29, 2011 - This wine was inky black in color. The nose was jam packed with jammy fruit and creamy peppery spices. The palate was also loaded with tons of ripe jammy fruit. The mid palate transitioned to a creamy vanilla spice with chocolate and licorice and some black pepper. The finish was long and once again packed with a creamy fruit. The mouth feel of this wine is thick and juicy. This is a good zinfandel from a great vintage!
