December 25, 2012 - Alsace in a bottle. Classic spice and complexity. Vibrant fruit throughout, zesty acidity plays nicely with roasted turkey. Prefect bottling for Gewurztraminer newbies. Steal of a QPR. If nit-picky, an ever so slight tad sweet palate note keeps it from an 'A', but a superb 'B+'.

April 10, 2012 - Classic Gewürztraminer nose; rose petal, ripe apricot, touch of minerality. Very ripe at entry, almost viscous mouthfeel, but nicely acid balanced, and slt drying hint of grapefruit at finish. Paired with Moroccan spiced chicken & bacon wrapped dates.
