April 20, 2024 - A beautiful, fragrant, earthy and hedonistic wine in its own right, but next to the superior ‘12 CLB Reignots this was clearly outclassed on the terroir, vintage, and winemaking style that elevated the latter to a new realm. This was still an immense pleasure to drink as the new Louis-Michel style was evident in the vintage.

June 20, 2020 - Very restrained on the nose and palate. Red and clear blue fruit on the nose with a touch of spice. Not the usual LB fireworks. Sophisticated and complex just super reserved. Guess I will wait to drink my remaining bottles.

September 11, 2019 - Very impressive floral bouquet, finesse, elegance, refined texture, lovely acidity, potpourri, red tea like and outstanding finish. Well made wine !
