March 31, 2018 - Popped and Poured... Most 2009's are drinking really nice. However, this requires significant air so I would recommend a decant and this is not a solo point chaser this is a food wine. Pair with Pork, Poultry and heavy root vegetables. Nice but nothing to write home about. I would say giving it 5 more years may help it or not...

November 21, 2015 - Vinturi'd. Nose of vanilla and cinnamon. Palate of cherries, red berries, nutmeg, vanilla, and clove. Nicely fruit forward with earthy suances.

June 21, 2015 - There may be bottle variation but comparing to some of the other notes this bottle had plenty of clean fruit. Lots of strawberries in fact. Quite nice for a Hautes Cotes which tends to do better in warmer years in my opinion. Easy drinking and just fine now.

June 3, 2015 - A more favourable impression than last time; just. Initially mean with no fruit and high acidity and tannin, the fruit did start to emerge on the second night and something approaching balance was achieved. In reality though tough and lacking fruit.
