November 27, 2023 - Tasted like a mix of California pinot and Chambolle. Not in a bad way, but in a ripe/fruit characteristic way. Far more acid and lighter in feel than a CA pinot would be. Enjoyable but not at all complex. Drink or hold.

September 29, 2020 - Subtle aroma of ripe mineral red fruits, feeling a bit thin and watery on the palate but actually, it is quite substantial and meaningful, kind of sweet and deep with a hint of spices, medium finish! I like it!

March 21, 2017 - Youthful medium expressive nose displaying intense black fruit, blackberry, roasted black cherry, animal a la crus Beaujolais, iron and earth. Excellent concentration, ripe sweet black fruit driven palate impression, bright acidity, nicely integrated tannins and a long earthy finish. It is certainly very ripe but not overripe for my palate. This will start to peak in five years and will improve for another decade or two, gaining sous bois. Really impressive especially for a village wine.

January 8, 2016 - No decant and it may have helped but this was still delicious stuff. Dark berries, smoke, meaty qualities with forest floor, tilled earth, salty cranberry sauce (best I can do). Nice tannins big acid. No rush on this but no need for undue hesitation to have a go at this now.
