  November 3, 2020 - Yes Bacigalupi, just what you should expect !! Tasting excellent right now ! A descent cork after a decade in the bottle only saturated 20% of the way up. Consumed over two days, not sure I liked it the first day. However, this balanced wine really opened up on day two with increased depth and integrated complexity. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and cranberry. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and black tea with a hint of forest floor. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir from a historic vineyard in the Russian River Valley appellation. This age worthy wine has more years of life left. A great fruit selection and a great winemaking effort.

  December 11, 2017 - Nice nose of sweet fruit, the palate isn't as good, a bit of bitterness and astringency on the finish. Probably should have been drunk a few years ago. Pleasant enough.
