    June 29, 2014 - Decent Barolo. Needed an hour decant. Worked well with beef stroganoff and parmesan; a little hard work on its own.

    August 16, 2011 - Light ruby color. Fragrant nose with typical cherry, tar and rose petals. Medium full bodied with silky tannins, fresh acidity and some dark fruit.The finish is long and fresh. Typical Barolo flavor profile, only held back by the medium-full body. Pretty OK at the price point in Italian supermarkets (ear 16,75).
    This wine needs quite some time to show its full potential. I left it 6 hours in an opened bottle, and even the day after it was fresh and vibrant.
