October 28, 2023 - Opened 3 hours before drinking and consumed over 2 days.On day 1,the wine drank beautifully and must be near it's peak.Medium bodied.Good fruit.Lovely balance and texture. On day 2 the wine notably dried out, whilst still enjoyable, it's seductive qualities were going.

April 8, 2022 - Drank over nearly three hours, from pop and pour start. Paler ruby color, clear at the rim, much lighter than the Village version of the same vintage opened next. Medium bodied. Intense black cherry with side notes of pomegranate and rose on the nose. Palate had the black cherry fruit, but stemmy and savory in a classic Burgundy style. Well balanced and long finish. Magnificent by the end, wished I’d decanted first.

February 22, 2022 - Decanted 30 minutes before service. In the glass, orange-tinted maroon. On the nose, high toned cherries with a slightly astringent note of citrus. On the palate, neither sweet nor tart cherries, cranberries, and nectarines, with a bit of cinnamon and clove emerging on a crisp, clean finish.

February 16, 2021 - Similar to last year. This needs about 15-20 minutes in the glass to open up its flavors and deepen its overall profile. It is operating at what I'd consider its peak drinking window, with a gentle advancement of further tertiary flavors over the next five years. Earthy black cherry, citrus peel, and some unsmoked tobacco/cigar notes. Paired perfectly with braised chicken Coq au vin.

February 18, 2020 - Smooth and balanced, with an equilibrium that makes for a beautiful display of black cherry, red and black currant, earth, and cinnamon flavors. With air, alluring burnt orange peel and smokey anise notes appear. Finishes with medium push, continuing with its seamless rolling glide. Verve and acidity are smooth. In a great spot right now, where both fruit and grip interact in a notable interplay. Drink now and over the next decade+. I really loved the cadence of delivery and even weight distribution here. 94+ points.
