  Much more density than Podere Giardino, fat and elegant with eucalyptus and other herbs.
  The approach is a bit easier here and the wine is more complex, alcohol and little bit out of balance.

  Die Tannine sind gar nicht so stark, schön eingebaut, insgesamt ist der Wein fast schon zu gefällig - Schwarzgeräuchertes, schöne Säurebalance, langer Abgang, sehr ausgewogen (= elegant) und wirklich komplex: Wacholderbeere, Brombeer, eingekochte Zwetschge, Schokolade, Kirsche, Barrique (erträglich). Absolut trinkbar (=jetzt).
  Alles in allem nahe am gehipten Level eines "Supertuscan" - aber irgendwie fehlen mir Ecken und Kanten - aber es hilft nix, 90 sind drin.

  Very near to the (in)famous Supertuscans and very much worth the money, I think I paid 12 Euros. Really nice and balanced. No flaws, and my girlfriend drank her glass(es) in no time, good sign :)
  I also found some (boyish) delight, so 90 points are, well (,) earned, even though I do not like this Bob/Michel (Parker/Roland) wines.

  November 7, 2011 - Straightforward, traditional sangiovese. Quite austere, bone dry, good concentration, still a little bit harsh, tannic, but no bitterness. Subdued frut, no discernible oak, clean, nice old world style - I would like to see more wines like this.
