Community Tasting Notes 2

  • retired_and_roving Likes this wine:

December 24, 2018 - 12 Days of Christmas - 2018; 12/21/2018-1/1/2019 (NYC, Vermont, Lake Placid): Decanted for sediment - although there was none. Funny brown colored glass bottle - very delicate and light in weight. The color on the wine is most shoe leather brown with hints of red in the center. Smells of leather and earth. On the palate though this is still quite alive - with mature tart red fruit, leather, stoney minerality and earth. Quite layered and expressive. Very nice.
