June 9, 2014 - Tar on nose, black with purple rim.
On palate not quite a fruit bomb but intense flavors finishing with distinct pepper notes. Long, with a good backbone. Drunk from a half-bottle (screwcap). Has a few good years yet but will probably not improve (in this format at least)

December 13, 2013 - Purple in colour, sweet fruits on the nose. In the mouth a bit thin & acidic with a fair whack of tannin. Not bad

July 24, 2013 - This is a pretty reliable Shiraz out of Auz at a reasonable price. Dark fruits and white pepper. A bit thin and the heat was showing even though it was served at cellar temps. I was still enjoyable after the initial burst of heat. Enjoyed with smoke ribs and BBQ chicken. Paired nicely.
