August 23, 2022 - PnP. A softer wine with lighter berry flavors--Cherry, Raspberry, some Blackberry. Medium, even finish. Very enjoyable!

December 13, 2006 - TNs: '97 Forman Cab, '98 Banfi BdM Poggio Alle Mura, '00 Albino Rocca Barbaresco Loreto, '01 Remirez de Ganuza, '01 Mas d'en Gil Clos Fontá, '00 Jaboulet Hermitage Pied de Cote, '99 Lafleur Gazin & '04 Descendientes de Jose Palacios Petalos. (Monterrey, Mexico): I was dead-on on this one, but also missed. In the nose: hot stones and loamy wet earth. I initially think Bordeaux given the Old orld nose profile, medium to light body and distinct acidity. Why I changed to Brunello di Montalcino? Because I ASSUMED the Bordeaux was a Left Banker and already had picked it for Wine 1. Others liked this better than I did. I thought the palate was a little tired and I noticed a hint of heat damage.

March 16, 2005 - Mid Mar 2005: lots a vanilla and some red fruit; full body; strong tannins.
Was much too young to drink. Not sure if this wine can reach the 90 point threshold?
