June 3, 2017 - Still delightful. As before. Great QPR. Last one now gone.

    February 28, 2017 - Decanted.
This Rioja Reserva shows gorgeous aromas that lead with scents that show its time in American Oak, dill and shaved coconut followed by floral notes of dried rose and wild flower, leather, earth, bergamot oil, dark cherry, dried red berries and teakwood.
Juicy upon entry showing a great acid structure. Layered flavors weave in and out seamlessly showing herbs and dill, raw coconut, dried flowers, black tea, black cherry, dried red berries, pomegranate, earth, wood and bergamot with light hints of leather and tobacco. Lingering through the finish with moderate soft tannins.

September 17, 2015 - PnP after dinner. No detailed note. Solid. Great QPR. Sadly only one more left.

September 27, 2014 - Lots of tannic bite, but fruit and earth combine for a nice balance

May 20, 2014 - A really solid wine. Rich. Smooth. More complex than one would expect at this price.
