February 6, 2006 - NobleRottersSydney - Old Penfolds night (Guillaume at Bennelong): {cork, 11.5%} Only a fortnight off the plane! This light yellow beauty has a nose of honey and apple pie. Terrifically rich aromas follow onto the palate, which is supported by a gloriously piercing acidity that cuts a refreshing swathe across the palate; it easily supports the richness of the fruit and keeps the finish clean, with no danger of cloying sickliness. Lovely stuff.
