Community Tasting Notes 2

February 8, 2011 - Rich black fruit on the nose with some mint. Great fragant tobacco notes. Palate is all acid and tannins with subtle black cherry.

February 8, 2011 - The Italian Wine Masters (Hilton, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York): The nose showed earth and minerals followed by raspberry and berry scented wax. On the palate, I found a soft expression of sweet strawberry fruit and old wood, which led to a short and drying finish. Unfortunately it seems that the structure of this wine will outlive its fruit.
