September 20, 2012 - Deep orange-golden. Complex, soft, mellow nose, slightly raisiny, but with a hint of freshness. Very soft, creamy, complex palate, but it lacking freshness. Candied orange rind, orange essence. Dark honey aftertaste, very long, just a little spicy, notes of old strong cheese with honey. Interesting.

June 26, 2009 - Wow. Golden color with a huge nose of apple, peach, and pears. The wine just wraps the tongue in apple, pear, and peaches, but it hits every inch with powerful fruit. The acidity gives it verve with great density and focus. The finish is endless. Overall, this was the wine of the night even when paired with the '86 Chateau Climens. This wine just had another layer of depth. Outstanding.
