May 29, 2021 - Tasted at Bern's -- where it is listed as a Sercial

Light color for Madeira, copper color with green hints. Strong acid and nice hazelnut notes with a long piercing finish. Tasty, but not exceptional.

September 21, 2011 - Signs of mould under the capsule. Fully saturated cork. Dark amber colour. Nose of burnt sugar, citrus peel, candied lemons, and brown baking spice. On the palate, this is relatively thin in texture. Not overly complex, with a flavour profile that matches the aromas. Dies off on the finish; not particularly concentrated or powerful.
