March 29, 2013 - Perfect drinking now. Ruby-garnet colour but starting to thin. Intense nose but at the same time balanced - mixed fruits with perhaps a light chocolate note. Lovely fresh fruit on the palate, bright but also mellow. Primarily red fruits, with strawberries and raspberries coming through. Although it's probably not got long left, there's still a hit of tannin, and a dose of acid on the finish. Dry, medium finish gives way to a little residual sweetness at the end. Very good indeed, and with keeping for a little time.
