September 24, 2023 - Same bottle as Melvin. This wine is tight but for me, it was gorgeous and got better at the end of the night. It is balanced, poised, and I agree with the previous notes before Melvin's. More is to come for this.

September 23, 2023 - Felix's birthday celebration: Normal service resumed for Unico, think the incredible 1989 was an exception rather than the norm. Some roasted coffee on the nose, a wall of tight, dark fruit on the palate. So brooding and grumpy - for a wine that was released in 2006 to be so shut down, you begin to wonder what is the point / if it will ever come around.

October 1, 2022 - 50th Birthday Tasting (Vesterbro): Black current fruit but also dominated by a lean profile and an impressive minerality.
It is clear that it is an older wine because everything feels balanced and polished but the fruit-profile is still young and fresh black currant berries.
Lovely and medium-long aftertaste packed with spices, acidity and minerals. -

July 5, 2012 - a stunning wine which was served alongside a 2007 Tignanello and a 1996 Sassicaia. Extremely luscious nose with dark red fruits, spices with an extremely long lingering waft of light red fruits. Flavours are intense, deep red berries, a touch of sweetness and intense aftermath of cherries, a dash of vanilla, oak, minerals and lovely blackberries. Lasts a sensationally long time, extremely velvety and beautifully smooth. Love it
