November 11, 2021 - - Brick color with slow forming legs and aromas of vanilla, cedar, smokey and blackberry. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry, black currant, black pepper and cherry with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Decanted two hours. The wine has cellared perfectly. Ready now, but can go longer.

April 22, 2020 - Improved on second day. Deep red. Ripe berry. Medium length finish. A bit hot. Can still age 2-3 more years.

May 29, 2017 - Very different from the 2011. Decanted about 2 hours. Not much of a nose. Purple, blue and black fruit. Relatively complex and integrated. Decent finish. Very much appreciated by the father-in-law.
