March 10, 2024 - Burgundyesque nose. Tight tannin wall yet remarkably structured and balanced.

January 28, 2024 - Denne gikk til en angus culotte, fløtepoteter og soppsaus. En god vin som virket litt tørr og utilnærmelig før maten åpnet seg i denne settingen og viste både sødme og struktur.

December 10, 2023 - Absolutely killer stuff. I love Cappellano wines; the nose is immediately explosive with what I consider the essence of nebbiolo; dark fruit, truffle, forest floor, tobacco, dried rose petal. So exquisite to smell. The palate is definitely still young, structured, and pretty big, but very drinkable with food. Loads of dark fruit alongside the spice and earth notes. Some people would maybe find it a bit rustic, but for me it is just soulful and full of personality. I loved it. These are absolutely my kind of Barolo.

January 7, 2023 - Dry delicious fruit on the nose. Palate is full, concentrated, tannic and classic Barolo. Could rest longer in the cellar and benefit from that.

July 5, 2022 - Cappellano dinner at Jade.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour with garnet edge. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of ripe dark red cherries, mint, spice, mushroom hints. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.5%), high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of spice, earth, savoury notes, ripe dark red cherries, mint. Long finish.
Very good quality. Gets better and better with air.
