June 23, 2023 - Surprisingly plump- opened side by side with 2009 HdV and came in 2nd. Purity of ripe yellow fruit, some freshness remain- this is currently an enjoble wine. The finish is dry and fruit influenced, oak is beautifully restrained, adding structure without spice or vanilla. My opinion is that this wine will not gain in complexity, just continue to mature.

May 29, 2023 - Dense and ripe, full of yellow apple and peaches and cream, but with excellent acid and just enough mineral structure to hold it all together. Delicious.

November 29, 2021 - P&P. fully mature. enticing note on orange peel, lemon a bit of honey. the palate is large but enough acidity to bring freshness. long and finishes on a beautiful bitter notes. Ready now and I am not sure it is worth cellaring any longer

August 15, 2021 - still drinking very well and feels younger than 12 at this point. cooked apple, lemons, crushed nuts, butter, cream, a touch of spice and some rocky notes. drank best just below cellar temp after 30 minutes of air

December 26, 2016 - Cork crumbled on opening, but wine was in good shape. Pale gold color belies its modest age. Beautiful nose, light touch of oak. Medium+ bodied, balanced, just enough juicy acidity. Lengthy finish. Gone way too quickly. Expensive, but worth it!
