  July 8, 2012 - CS donates a huge, firm canvas with round tannin backbone; Merlot dictates the decently hefty body; Malbec delivers on the fruit and floral aromatics, which sing while directing a deceivingly dry finish. Outstanding effort. Ripe red berries with cinnamon and red oak bouquet. Richer, red plum with star anise and white smoke arrive across the palate. Finish is dry; red berries with dried jasmine flower and white oak. A star standalone, yet still a team player with a charred sirloin and trimmings. 92/B+ = 50/5/12/9/8/8
