  April 2, 2012 - Nice rendition of a Rhône varietal. Softly floral nose, with a little damp paving stone and lemon-lime. Creamy mouthfeel, bright Meyer-lemon acidity. Finish is dry and flinty. There's a noticeable oakiness that seems a little distracting. Finishes roughly, with a hot, methol-like note at the back of the palate.

  February 25, 2012 - The previous version of Roussanne from Wellington put me on to Rhone styled whites. This one has a creamier mouthfeel with a really long finish. Hints of lemon and caramel on the palate with a little touch spice on the nose. I think this is a great Rhone representation and at a good price point. Also, had with homemade caramel corn... pretty decent mix with sweet and salty.
  EDIT:
  The only issue I have is it seemed a touch hot. Giving it a little time to decant and blow off is recommended, as it has mellowed a bit since opening it a few hours ago.

  January 30, 2012 - Great wine, went really well as part of the sauce and accompanying buffalo milk ricotta pasta. Rich mouthfeel, almost creamy, pretty viscous, altogether enjoyable.
