June 9, 2023 - Lifted aromas, due to volatile acidity being part of the mix but not annoyingly so.
Very flavoursome, cassis. Some maturity but a long way from being an old wine.

May 15, 2022 - Syrupy. Not over-ripe but pushing at the boundary. Oak is a touch “candy floss”. With a savoury olive finish to balance things.
I might think Clare Valley rather than Margaret River. Or South American malbec.

August 31, 2021 - In the decanter 4 hrs prior to drinking. Layers of red and black currants, bay leaf and tobacco. Very well balanced. Long drying and persistent tannins, years left in the tank. Outstanding cabernet
