March 8, 2023 - Drank last nite at our CKH wine dinner. Much lighter in color than what I'm used to with my previous CC tastings. Nose of sweet fruit, some apple, some butterscotch. Medium to full-bodied, plenty of fruit here, there's still-noticeable wood which gives the wine a creamy texture, along with good acidity and noticeable viscosity. This is a fairly big wine, but nicely balanced. As discussed at the table, this wine had noticeable notes of butterscotch and caramel which I've always noticed in CCs 5-10 yrs older than this one, and I had always attributed to the bottles' age. I guess I was mistaken in that regard for this 2009, imo, remains a very fresh, youthful, and vibrant wine. And of all people, Stevie W. brings this CC to the table! Not only was this the youngest CC I can recall tasting, but also ended up as my white WOTN. Very enjoyable wine!

February 13, 2021 - Robe jaune claire. nez assez riche et expressif. notes beurrées. beaucoup de mâche et de tension en bouche. C’est un vin en devenir. Le vin se révèle en carafe avec puissance et longueur. 94. S’est affaissé le lendemain (restait 1 verre en bouteille).
