March 19, 2021 - Online Blind Tasting: 2009 from all over the world: Wine was filled into ~ 125 ml bottle in the morning and tasted in the evening and the evening the day after.
    Glass: Zalto Universal
Clear, medium golden color. Clean, medium intense developing nose. Stone fruit, orange zests, lots of lime, some green notes (stems ?). Very dense and multi-layered.
Dry, high acidity, noticeable grip of tannin, partially a bit hot. On the palate warm, ripe fruit, orange zests, very mineral, delicate petrol. Great pressure and tension, lots of power, but never to fat or broad. Dense and phenolic. Long finish, herbaceous and yellow stone fruit. Still young, can improve over at least 5+ years. 93-94

May 15, 2019 - Ein wahrhaft Großes Gewächs!!!

April 20, 2019 - In a wonderful phase righ now. Nose balances between ripe stone fruit, citrus, honey and a hint of smokiness. Creamy first impression, balanced with tense yet perfectly integrated acidity. Still very intensive body and to some extent still very vivid hinting to a long life ahead. Long long long ... lenghth. My guess is that this could last very well far beyond the official drinking window of 2023. (PS : cork broke off while opening, not the first time when trying to uncork an older Burklin Wolf vintage)

August 23, 2018 - Wirklich schön! Verbesserte sich stetig an der Luft. Durchaus exotisch aber mit guter Säure und Struktur!Trinken bis 2023. Lecker!!

April 26, 2018 - Layers of flavour abound in this massive behemoth of a wine.
Tropical fruits like maracuya, mango and pineapple as well as super ripe stone fruits like apricots and peach are interspersed with aromas of blossom, fruit cake and various dried fruits.

Unlike Idig from the same year this one is all ready to be consumed as the acids and flavors are in perfect harmony. the finish is stunningly long as well.

The slight hint of petrol indicates the wine has a long life ahead of it.

    A clear stunner.
