November 13, 2016 - Dark blackberry colour. Red fruits, smoky nose. Distinct spicy, cacao taste with average tannins and black current. Full-bodied. Nice cherry aftertaste.

March 4, 2013 - A dark garnet/purple. Tight nose showing some prunes, cassis, and green leaf. Reserved fruits in the mouth, with a soft coating of oak. Still some astringent tannins on the back end, and more tart than I would prefer. 14.1% alcohol.
