  December 7, 2012 - Color still bright and young. Nose is a bit muted. Hints of berries.
  
  Palate is nicely integrated, but still pretty closed. This may require more time in the bottle. It opened up a bit more throughout the evening. Solidly good, but did not wow any of us.

  April 3, 2010 - Nicely integrated flavors with tobacco, red fruits, good acidity, soft tannins, medium finish. Very pleasurable, very nice now and will probably be great for another year or two in the cellar.

  November 12, 2009 - Sweet red berries, freshly cut cedar, and green leaf and basil with some burnt wood and a late, but prominent candied note. Medium-bodied, ripe, sweet, and slightly jammy with soft tannins, and a brief iodine note on a tangy, slightly drying finish.

  January 11, 2008 - Still young (I'll save the last bottle I have of this vintage for at least another 2 years). Decanted and drank over 3 hours. Nice fruit from the Merlot and Syrah, backbone from the Cab Sav and tobacco/tomato leaf component from the Cab Franc. A well put together wine.
