  May 18, 2013 - Tad stemmy on the nose. Savory, salty cured meat aromas. Espresso and roasted meat. Dark fruit and black plum on the nose. Good acidity on this wine. Slightly vegetal with lots of green flavors. Berry fruit, red and black plums leaning towards skins. Fleshy and with iron minerality. Cassis and licorice build.

  August 31, 2011 - Open for 45 minutes before tasting. With steaks, grilled veggies & garlic.
  Scent of raspberry, cherry, spice and floral. Strong currant on the palate, with floral complexity. Big, juicy with clear, mineral finish.

  July 18, 2011 - A little disappointed for the price as I bought on the rec of a retailer. Tannins are still a little assertive with a bit of heat on the back end. Medium bodied fairly forward dark fruit, and medium acidity with a hint of earth and a hint of astringency that do make me think Spain. A pass for me at $18.
