May 28, 2015 - From a 375 ml bottle I received as a gift during a visit to Gemstone a few years ago. Deep color, with a nose of tobacco and cassis. Full bodied Bordeaux blend dominated by cab. Soft tannins suggest it's at or near its peak. but I think this wine has several more years of development left in it. What a treat with rare prime rib and sweet potato fries at the Palace with Cathy and Mariruth

July 18, 2014 - Well done, elegant wine. Great value as a second label to Gemstone. This was a Tuesday night pizza-wine and it worked quite well. Great balance and elegance. Surprisingly long legs and fleshy mouth.
