Community Tasting Notes 2

December 4, 2019 - Lots of funk on the nose when opened. It blew off after a few minutes. Surprisingly bright fruit. Don't get too excited -- it was bright compared to my expectations. Dark cherry, but faded. The acidity was still good as was the balance. A bit of an unpleasant cherry cough syrup note on the finish. The fruit does brighten with some air.

June 1, 1998 - CT Group does Rhone Varietals @ Surf Village (Milford): Inky black in color. Game, pepper, and black fruits. Nice complexity and easy drinking wine. A dash of licorice added for complexity. Excellent.
